Electricity Consumption Guide

  1. As the power consumption is enormous, which imposes a heavy financial burden, we¡¯d like to offer some guides.
  2. Please turn off your air conditioners when you leave home for they are very energy-consuming. One small air conditioner consumes more than 1000 kw an hour, which costs around 0.5 yuan, and 5.00 yuan for ten hours.
  3. Please also turn off other household appliances such as water purifier, water heater, magnetic oven while you are away for they consume electricity if keep plucked in.
  4. We¡¯d like to set quotas of electricity consumption: Lower campus apartments: 400 kw hours per person per month; 500 per couple per month; foreign teachers building: 500 per person per month; 600 per couple per month. It is rather a reminder of power saving than a limit of power consumption.

Thank you for your cooperation!
